Custodianship
FactoryForest maintains gardens beautifully – those which exist already and those we have created. Our custodianship ranges from lawn and grass care, plant-beds cleaning, tree pruning and shaping, or whichever garden care area you can’t get to. We will do this for you efficiently and affordably.
We also provide a ‘Care & Grow’ service – which combines ongoing maintenance with slow-grow garden development and planting towards your long-term garden vision.
The FactoryForest ‘Care & Grow’ option is lovely approach to creating magnificent forest spaces, over time and in an long-term forest partnership with our partners.
Consulting
FactoryForest Consulting services includes ideation of forest space creation and development, ideation and guidance on tree or plant suitability and fit, and/or oversight to projects in progress.
FactoryForest appreciates that some partners prefer to use their own resources and energy, and may just need fresh perspectives, ideas and conversations about what could be. We are cool with this approach and happy to add value at your discretion. Consulting services are available on retainer or at an hourly rate – whichever our partners prefer.
Outdoor Forest Spaces
FactoryForest designs, maps and creates beautiful, functional outdoor forest space or forest-spaces on your property.
These spaces may take many different forms from functional seating and outdoor work areas, walking and exercise paths, verges, rooftop garden forests, herb gardens, planted parking areas, or a combination of these, fully planted where possible, and whichever inspires and serves your forest dreams. All projects follow extensive partner needs and wants conversations as well as a comprehensive site analysis to align project and plant suitability to the particular site.
We are also conscious that living trees and other plants are often already located on site. Where this is the case, FactoryForest will incorporate these into our mapping unless, for good reason we agree otherwise.
Further, forests take time to grow, to mature and settle. Where preferred, we are happy to take a staged, agile approach as per our partner aspirations and needs.
FactoryForest Schools
For partners wanting to ‘Plant it Forward’ by creating beautiful outdoor spaces for children or young adults, or just to inspire them, FactoryForest works with you to do so at jointly chosen or recommended schools or other education institutions.
The FactoryForest Schools initiative offers a wonderful opportunity to impact and pay it forward to those who otherwise do not have the means to experience the beauty of such spaces on a regular basis.
Where such spaces are created and maintained they have a profound impact on student (and staff) physical and emotional health.
The FactoryForest Schools offering extends to maintenance or custodianship of schools external spaces – following garden creation or as an independent garden or green space maintenance service.
Delivery & Planting
FactoryForest delivers and plants trees and other plants at your site as an independent and separate service.
Where this offering is preferred we do suggest a conversation about tree and plant suitability – unless your own expertise is sufficient. Since one never wants to condemn a tree to death at the moment of planting, correct placement is critical and necessary to realise a return on your investment over the life of the tree.
Bees in the Garden
In addition to providing the wonderful gift of honey, Bees pollinate our trees and flowers, which then support other insects, which then support birds, bats, mammals and everything up the food chain with food and shelter.
It seems natural that many who are interested in natural green spaces might also be interested in Bees and Beehives. For those who are, a collaboration between FactoryForest and the Bee Inspired Honey company, Bees, Beehives, and Honey can become a realty in your green space.
